Overview:
Connect to online Minecraft servers on your mobile device. You can chat and send commands just as if you are using the Minecraft client. Send commands just as you do while playing Minecraft (/r, /ban, /kick etc).

Features:
- Alerts! You can add words or phrases that you want to highlight and make a sound. For instance add your user name or a list of banned words. When a chat message comes across that matches, it will highlight and ding!
- Connect to "Online" and "Offline" Minecraft servers
- Supports Minecraft 1.4.6 and higher.
- Automatically spawn on connect.
- Hide server messages (Join and Left messages).
- Email your conversation.
- No limit on servers in your server list.
- Tap on a user in the Online tab to start a "Tell" to that player.
- Tap a message on the Message tab to "Reply", "Tell", or email the conversation.
- Messages automatically scroll. If you manually scroll up the auto scrolling will stop so you can read previous messages. To re-enable auto scrolling, simply scroll to the bottom of the messages and it will scroll automatically again.

Notes:
- MineChat does not work with servers that require client modification such as Tekkit.
- MineChat will work over 3G/4G, but eats up a good bit of data and can run slow depending on your connection. So it is recommended you are on WI-fi when in using MineChat.
- MineChat does not support Forge Modloader servers.
- MineChat sends a spawn command automatically upon connection to help prevent your character from getting killed while using the app. However, not all servers support the spawn command or have delay before teleporting you which leaves your character vulnerable during that time period. Be sure you are aware how your server handles spawning.

Security:
MineChat does not send any credentials or information of any kind to any third party servers. The only information transmitted is directly to Minecraft servers. It uses the exact same login method as the Minecraft game uses. It transmits login credentials over SSL and uses encryption while transmitting game data.

Pros and cons of MineChat Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

MineChat Mobile app good for

why did you had to add that login-message on the free version? Couldnt you just add more ads?
I love this app, I use it all the time, even in class. But recently I havent been able to connect to any of the servers Ive added. I can connect to the promoted and featured servers, but nothing else.
I love using this app its easy access to minecraft chat on servers and very easy to use
I love it but the most recent update doesnt allow you to see bold, italics, etc. But otherwise, everything is awesome!
Absolutely great if you get the full version, the demo/sample works well for just chatting in one server but Id recommend the full version. The only issue I have is that if you update MineChat theres a chance itll be updated to the lasted two version of minecraft (such as 1.9) where servers are still lower in versions (1.8) and you cant join it. Other then that its a very good app for checking in on things or popping in a server to say hi!
So I try to use minechat and when I try to join my own server I cant! The page is too full of other servers. You could start by making the page bigger or removing the featured servers taking up the whole page! And the disconnect button is even farther under the page and when you try to pull the page down it snaps right back up! So Id fix this bug because it defeats the whole point of the app and the money I spent on it! Hoped this helped. Bye!

Some bad moments

A lot of my friends have been using this app, but when I got it, it kept continuing to crash and not letting me join servers ;-; please fix
Before the last update, the app was working more or less fine, crashing every 30 minutes at most. Now, as soon as a popup is shown (advertisement, player msg option, whatever) the application stops responding and crashes. I like the new design, but the app is useless now. Please fix this as soon as possible.
I have an ipad mini and it crashes upon loadup very disapointing
So it was working great prior to today when it updated. Now that Ive updated the app crashes within 15 seconds of opening it, instead of saying servers players and chat it says minechat.tab.chat, minechat.tab.online, and so on. I try to connect to a server and it crashes. Im running on the 5th gen iPod with iOS 9.3.1. Pls fix
The free version lets me log in. Minecraft lets me log in. Mojang lets me log in. The paid app? Nope. Also the developer(s) wont respond on Facebook.
Minechat Lite did let me log in on minechat, but this payed version is not letting me do anything. It would be rest if you guys please did something to make a person be able to log in.
